About the role
Sentrix Technology is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team in our Subang Jaya, Selangor office. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for providing essential accounting and administrative support to our growing business.
What you'll be doing
- Performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Liaising with clients and suppliers to resolve billing and payment queries
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
What we're looking for
At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounts assistant or bookkeeping role, preferably in a small business or accounting firm environmentAt least a Higher Secondary / STPM / "A" Level / Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, any fieldStrong attention to detail and excellent numerical skillsProficiency in using accounting software such as SQL and AutocountGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA keen interest in the accounting and finance fieldKey Requirements
Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is highly advantageous for interactions with Chinese clientsPreferably able to start work immediately (Serious applicants only)
