With tens of thousands of users across multiple countries, the company is modernizing its systems and infrastructure on AWS to enhance scalability and performance. It is building a fully remote team in Malaysia to drive the next phase of its technology development.

About the Role

In this role, you will design, build, and optimize cloud-based backend solutions that power the company's platform. This includes writing scalable, secure, and well-tested code, developing services that integrate seamlessly with front-end systems, and maintaining database structures to support growth.

You will also ensure data privacy, improve system performance, and stay current with emerging technologies, while helping to refine development processes for greater efficiency.

Main Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in backend development with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong skills in , TypeScript, and backend frameworks like
• Experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Lambda) and scaling cloud solutions.
• AWS Certification is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, Git, and Agile practices.
• Strong understanding of API design, system security, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
