A market leader in chemicals / textile manufacturing, based in Perak.

Job Descriptions

  • Lead and develop the finance team
  • Manage accounting operations : general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany accounting and month end closing
  • Oversee AR and AP operations
  • Oversee company balance sheet and monitor movements and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with all reporting or accounting statutory requirements
  • Responsible for audit process with external auditors
  • Interdepartmental liaison to provide valuable input and feedback on respective financial performances
  • Annual budget preparation and monthly forecast update
  • Manage and review tax filing and ensure compliance to tax regulation

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy / any professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Deadline sensitive and work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
