About the role

We are seeking a diligent Purchasing Admin to join our team at CESCO INTEGRATED SERVICES SDN BHD' in Pasir Gudang, Johor. As a full-time Purchasing Admin, you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement management processes, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of materials and supplies to keep our operations running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

  • Processing and tracking purchase orders, requisitions, and other procurement documentation
  • Liaising with suppliers to negotiate pricing, arrange deliveries, and resolve any issues
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages
  • Preparing reports and analysis on purchasing activities and expenditure. Daily reporting on the costing.
  • Assisting with the implementation of procurement policies and procedures
  • Providing administrative support to the procurement team as required
  • Compilation and submission of supplier invoice to Accounts department on time.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement-related role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Services
  • Experience in AutoCount Purchasing Software for Purchase Order generation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with suppliers
  • Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any procurement-related issues
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well as part of a team
