Job Scope : Software Developer – Microsoft Stack

Location : Butterworth, Penang

Team : Aenon Software Development Team

Client Base : Major MNCs across Penang

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Software Developer to join our dynamic Aenon development team in Butterworth. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications for our multinational clients in Penang. This is a collaborative team environment where innovation, quality, and client satisfaction are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Microsoft technologies including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and the .NET Framework
Design and manage databases using MS SQL Server
Build and integrate RESTful APIs for scalable and secure data exchange
Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other reporting tools
Develop custom business applications using Power Apps
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
Provide technical support and enhancements for existing systems
Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and security standards

Requirements

Proven experience with Microsoft development stack (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL)

Strong understanding of REST architecture and API development

Hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Apps

Proficiency in Python and JavaScript

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills in English
