We Are Looking For
As the Mechanical Engineer , you will report to the Technical Manager and support the Operations team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of the data center\'s mechanical infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
Manage critical technical maintenance activities associated with all mechanical systems to reduce operational risk and in accordance with the MOPDevelop the SOP, EOP and MOP for all the critical facility equipment and activitiesProvide technical support during the construction phase, responding to RFIs and addressing any issues that ariseCoordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and on schedule while managing the mechanical team including HVAC, fire protection, plumbingWork with the Shift team on incident investigation, follow up actions and the submission of the interim and final report to Management for reviewIdentify parameters in the BMS / DCIM system data and conduct data analysis to identify opportunities to improve the reliability / efficiency of the Critical equipment or processesAnalyse and evaluate mechanical system performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for upgradesAnalyse energy usage, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savingsSupport Green Mark DC Certification and ensure that the existing Chiller Plant is compliance to the Green Mark requirementSupport and coordinate in major activities such as Annual Shutdown, Overhaul, drill / Tabletop exercise / dry run-on equipment failure etc.Keep abreast of changes in codes and technologies appropriate to the mechanical, plumbing and fire protection disciplinesEvaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance system performance and reduce operational costsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of the chiller systems with other data centre infrastructureRequirements
