Vacancy : Senior Executive (E2) / Executive (E1), Compliance & Risk Management

This is a full‑time on‑site role as a Senior Executive / Executive at Permodalan BSN Berhad (PBSN) located in Kuala Lumpur.

You are expected to :

(a) Work closely with the Head of Department (HOD) in all compliance issues and liaise with other department / divisions to discharge the duties and functions effectively.

(b) Assist HOD in performing compliance reviews as per the established compliance programme / work plan. This shall includes monitoring of funds and / or portfolios’ investment parameters, employees’ personal transactions, daily complaint log, advertisements and promotional materials etc;

(c) Prepare and submit the relevant periodic reports (monthly, semi‑annually, annually and also on ad‑hoc) to Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and / or the Federation of Investment Manager Malaysia (FiMM) after reviewed by the HOD.

(d) Assist HOD in examining and / or investigating any irregularity in the management company’s operations. All findings should be properly documented. Where necessary, the compliance officer should notify and / or consult the trustee and / or the SC;

(e) Assist HOD in disseminate market and industries updates;

(f) Assist HOD in disseminate new and / or revised laws, rules and regulations as well as guidelines to employees;

(g) Assist HOD in monitoring AMLCFT related matters such as entertains requests from regulatory authorities and enforcement agencies etc;

(h) Assist the HOD in preparing, compiling and / or reviewing the risk management indicators / matters as established;and

(i) Assist HOD in performing any other tasks as requested from time to time.

Position needs at least 2-4 years working experiences in compliance, audit, risk management, finance in the capital market generally and / or unit trust and / or fund management industry specifically.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration
• Good report writing and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of the financial market and trends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office e.g word, excel, etc.
