Purpose of Job

As the Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for Cayman First and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day front office operations. You will welcome guests, assist customers, and provide administrative support across the organization. This position also involves managing front-desk activities such as directing visitors, handling phone calls, managing company mail, processing customer payments, and coordinating internal office support functions. Job Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests, and direct customers to the appropriate Customer Service Representative
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area stocked with all necessary customer service materials
  • Provide accurate and timely information in person, by phone, or via email
  • Supports office efficiency by planning, implementing, and supporting office operations
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail and parcel shipments including receiving, sorting, and distribution of daily mail, deliveries, and courier packages
  • Stock and replenish kitchen supplies regularly
  • Coordinate occasional food orders for internal meetings and company events
  • Process customer payments, handle cash and debit transactions, and collaborate with the Accounts department to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of all financial activities
  • Support general administrative tasks and duties related to insurance services
  • Ensure inventory of office supplies are ordered and stocked, place orders for marketing and promotional items, corporate gifts orders and new supplies as needed
  • Provide administrative support for external or internal events and programs including all staff events, the social committee, coordinating donations, catering, and corporate sponsorships
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and required

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or higher
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a receptionist or in a customer service function
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Past experience handling payment transactions.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle urgent matters promptly and effectively
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a dependable team player with a positive and professional attitude
