About the role

We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As our Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic decision-making for our growing company. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall business objectives
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
  • Manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring efficient allocation of financial resources
  • Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to the senior management team
  • Design and maintain consistent, effective and controlled processes and frameworks for accurate and timely financial reporting for the Group
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the finance function's efficiency and effectiveness

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within the Accounting industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting best practices
  • Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis using tools like Excel
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a finance team
  • Familiar with Australia property market
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly desirable
