About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Finance and Admin (General Ledger) to join our dynamic team at Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in our Glenmarie, Selangor office. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in the financial accounting and reporting functions of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable and accounts payable
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies and procedures
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent accounting qualifications i.e. ACCA, or graduates in a related field.

At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance and accounting role, preferably in the accounting industry,

Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and analytical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications.

Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations.
