Junior Trader

We are seeking a Junior Trader (Petroleum & Petrochemicals) to drive global trading activities, build supplier and customer relationships, and manage portfolios. The role involves using market insights, coordinating with logistics and operations teams, and ensuring smooth transactions, while offering international exposure and strong career growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities / 工作职责

  • Develop and maintain global trading business (purchasing and sales) in Petroleum and / or Petrochemicals.

负责在全球范围内发展及维护石油及 / 或石化产品的贸易业务(采购与销售)。

  • Use market intelligence to identify new suppliers / customers and develop new accounts.

    • 利用市场资讯寻找新供应商 / 客户,拓展业务关系。

  • Manage purchasing / selling portfolio, liaise with logistics, operations, and risk management teams.

    • 管理采购与销售组合,并与物流、运营及风险管理团队协作。

  • Participate in business meetings and entertainment with suppliers / customers (including overseas).

    • 参与与供应商及客户的商务洽谈与应酬(包括海外往来)。

  • Adapt to industry culture and maintain strong working relationships.

    • 融入行业文化,维系良好合作关系。

    Requirements / 任职要求

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Petrochemicals, Engineering, or related field.

    • 拥有商业、经济、金融、石化、工程等相关专业学士学位。

  • 1–2 years of experience in bulk cargo operations is an advantage.

    • 1–2年大宗货物操作经验者优先。

  • Candidates with crude / refined products trading experience (including petrochemicals) are welcome to apply.

    • 具有原油 / 成品油或石化产品贸易经验者优先。

  • Proficient in English (reading & writing) and able to converse in Chinese. Fluency in Malay is a plus.

    • 英文读写熟练,能以中文沟通,会马来语者优先。

  • Open-minded, willing to learn, able to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    • 思维开放,愿意学习,能适应快节奏和多变的工作环境。

  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.

    • 具备良好的团队合作与人际沟通能力。

    Job Type : Contract

    Contract length : 12 months

    Pay : RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
