Industrial Engineering Intern

Position Overview

As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to precision manufacturing operations while supporting the Industrial Engineering team in improving productivity, efficiency, and process flow. This internship provides practical experience in lean manufacturing, time studies, process improvement, and production support in a high-volume engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in time studies, work measurement, and line balancing activities.
• Support the development and optimization of process flows, work instructions, and layout improvements.
• Participate in lean manufacturing projects to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Assist in preparing process documentation, reports, and presentations for project reviews.
• Support engineers in capacity planning, manpower utilization, and productivity tracking.
• Provide assistance during trial runs, process changes, and NPI (New Product Introduction) activities.
• Learn and apply problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma basics).
