Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum 2 years of experience as a Carpentry Site Supervisor or in a similar role Strong technical knowledge of carpentry and cabinet making practices Excellent project management and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints Strong leadership and team management capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in the use of carpentry tools and equipment Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and practices
What you'll be doing
- Manage and coordinate a team of carpenters and cabinet makers on site
- Ensure all carpentry and cabinet making work is completed to the required specifications and quality standards
- Monitor progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise on site
- Liaise with project managers and clients to provide updates and address any concerns
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to protect the wellbeing of the work crew
- Forecast material and labour requirements, and manage inventory and procurement
- Mentor and train junior carpenters and cabinet makers on the team
