Position Summary
As a key driver of operational excellence, the Industrial Engineer leads efforts to streamline processes, cut costs, and boost productivity across the organization. By leveraging data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration, this role identifies improvement opportunities, enhances supply chain performance, and strengthens workplace safety and quality. Key Responsibilities
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Design and implement new processes or modify existing ones to improve productivity, quality, and safety.Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust as needed.Cost ReductionAnalyze production costs, material usage, and waste to identify areas for reduction.
Design and implement projects to reduce costs, such as process improvements, material substitution, or waste reduction.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of cost-saving initiatives.Supply Chain OptimizationWork with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow, inventory management, and shipping processes.
Identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks.Design and implement changes to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.Ergonomic AnalysisEvaluate processes to identify potential hazards.
Design and implement solutions to reduce ergonomic risks and improve workers’ safety and comfort.Educate employees on proper lifting techniques, workstation setup, and other ergonomic best practices.Project ManagementManage or contribute to projects to implement new processes, technologies, or equipment.
Create project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.Work with various teams, such as production, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure project success.Quality and SafetyMonitor and maintain quality standards, including ISO certifications.
Identify potential safety risks and implement controls to mitigate them.Create and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.OthersEnsure the procurement process complies with RBA and ISO 9001 procedures.
Understand the requirements for a QMS, including documented information, planning and determining process interactions.Undertake any other duties as assigned by the superior or Head of Department (HOD) from time to time.Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.Solid understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Proficient in using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and process documentation techniques.Knowledge of cost analysis, material flow, and inventory management.Familiar with health, safety, ergonomic, and quality standards, including ISO 9001 compliance.Capable of managing or supporting projects involving process changes, equipment upgrades, or system improvements.Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting findings and leading initiatives.Possess own transportation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
