OEM Sales Engineer (Industrial Automation)

Schneider Electric is seeking a talented OEM Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and market share within the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) segment, focusing on industrial and process automation solutions.

The Role :

As an OEM Sales Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor to OEMs, system integrators, and channel partners, delivering innovative automation technologies and services that align with Schneider Electric’s value proposition.

Responsibilities :

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow OEM accounts in the industrial and process automation sectors.
Promote Schneider Electric’s automation portfolio including PLCs, HMIs, drives, and software solutions.
Build strong relationships with OEMs, machine builders, and system integrators to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and training sessions for customers and partners.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and achieve sales targets.
Utilize CRM tools for account tracking, opportunity management, and reporting.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in industrial automation or OEM environments.

Strong knowledge of automation systems, control panels, and industrial communication protocols.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization.

Proficiency in CRM and sales tools.

Familiarity with Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure platform.
