Job Description

In your new role you will :

Initiate / lead yield / Inline / PCM / DD and quality improvement programs. Lots’ assessment & disposition to ensure quality of products delivered to customers meet Infineon’s quality and reliability standard. Investigate, identify and provide fast feedback to production line incase of PCM / Inline / DD trend deviation / drift. Identify product or technology, or process margin related problem and work with PI / UPE / T to resolve. Process route creation / release and maintenance Perform DOE splits for process margin study and improvement, DOE for optimization of product performance (ruggedness and performance Support new product releases, Support Production tools releases(PCRB) technology transfer projects and ramp up production of new technologies To monitor and work with PI / UPE to ensure stability of PCM / Inline / DD trends and parameters Lead / support Technology Synchronization Support technology FMEA Deviation management Fast feedback to production in deviation with accurate analysis and conclusion Support / lead FEBE interface on yield, quality and reliability improvement topics Provide expert knowledge on risk assessment on product quality and reliability (MRB) Knowledge exchange (IFX) and knowledge transfers within IFKM

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have :

Functional Knowledge, Training / qualification : Bachelor / Master Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Physics / Material Science / Chemistry Job experience : Minimum 5 Years of working experience in Semiconductor industry preferred. Extent of technical knowledge in own area : In Depth Knowledge of PI / PTE analysis tools Intermediate level of knowledge in semiconductors physics of relevant power / IC technologies. In depth knowledge in 8D and other problem solving tools Advanced statistical analysis Six Sigma (preferably) Project management Leading team skills Extent of technical knowledge in other areas : Knowledge of unit processes and its influence on PCM / Inline parameters Test methods for specific Technology Knowledge on product applications Knowledge of quality and reliability of products Knowledge of FEBE integration and interdependencies Business Expertise Degree of knowledge of internal interdependencies (organization, workflow, customers, suppliers) Knowledge of own function’s contribution and the interdependency with internal IFKM departments Knowledge of IFX business processes and systems Knowledge of IFX quality system and processes Knowledge of interdependencies with BE processes and packaging Understanding of product cost and cost of quality.

Degree of knowledge of external environment (market, competitors, products, industries). Some applications specific knowledge related to key wafer fab PCM / Inline parameter Extent of people management responsibility (allocation of work, training, mentoring, development, budget) : Ability to provide on-the-job training and guidance to more junior colleagues,,Extent of technical leadership (training, technical development of team) : Mentorship to new engineers Internal group training or SME role within IFKM. Project management (size of teams, size of budget, complexity of projects) : Lead internal yield / quality and Inline / PCM CPK improvement team / 8Dteam Degree of analytical skills Identify product yield / quality problem with following : - Extensive Knowledge of PI / PTE analysis tools In depth knowledge of semiconductors physics 8D and other problem solving tools Advanced statistical analysis. Complexity of problems / solutions : Tool related problem identification Interaction effect of technology and processes Product / Technology and process margin topics.

Nature of information gathering : Test electrical data, PCM data, Production history information Process margin / DOE Technology relevant information Quality and reliability information and study Degree of innovation : Ability to identify multiple interacting factors problem and find resolution More complex correlation study i.e. identify signal from noises Interpersonal Skills Frequency of information exchange : Strong communication skills and ability to interact and work with peers across functionally in daily job Complexity of information : In depth technical information and mass production information. Higher complexity from process interdependencies FEBE interdependencies and interaction Level of sensitivity to audience (persuasion, influence, motivation, negotiation) : Ability to influence peers across department in team project environment to bring or effect improvement / changes. Logical and methodological information presentation
