EXECUTIVE - FINANCE, RECORD TO REPORT (FIXED ASSETS)

Overview

The incumbent role is responsible for overseeing and supervising the Company’s fixed assets functions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to relevant departments, and supporting the Finance Department in daily operational matters related to fixed assets.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing, payment processing and handling reconciliation for Fixed Assets related vendors.
• Receive and verify invoices, ensure that fixed assets are received / service has been performed (i.e., GRN) before invoicing.
• Processing of creditors’ payments.
• Update cashbook to ensure funds are available before releasing payment to vendors.
• Proper filing for all unpaid and paid invoices.
• Maintain a proper fixed assets file by category.
• Maintain fixed assets register.
• Ensure fixed assets register and General Ledger are updated and reconciled to ERP system.
• Ensure fixed asset capitalization is performed on time in ERP system.
• Ensure timely and accurate depreciation runs in ERP system.
• Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts and close out those accounts once the related projects are completed.
• Conduct fixed assets sighting on a monthly basis.
• Ensure fixed assets write-off / disposal / transfer is performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare timely and accurate fixed assets budgetary control reports.
• Ensure on-time sending of budgetary control reports to respective departments and follow up if FA expense exceeded budget.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents on PPE-related issues.
