About the Role

We are seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join a growing development team. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, NodeJS), and requires strong backend logic, clean coding practices, and a passion for solving complex technical problems.

As a junior-level developer, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions. You will also engage in process improvements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to platform architecture and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain web and application-based backend systems.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Perform feasibility analysis and optimization through structured planning.
Contribute to platform architecture, scalability, and design decisions.
Write and execute test cases, assist in QA processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical knowledge sharing.
Ensure best practices in coding, documentation, and system reliability.

Core Technical Skills Required

Strong understanding of MEAN stack : MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, NodeJS

Backend programming experience in one or more languages : JavaScript (NodeJS), Java, C#, Python, PHP

Experience in building large-scale, distributed server applications

Good understanding of REST APIs and web architecture

Familiar with clean code principles and scalable application design

Experience with code versioning and collaborative development workflows

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields

At least 2 years of experience in backend software development

Good command of English and Mandarin (required for client communication)

Logical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail

Passion for learning, adaptability, and teamwork

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Work Arrangement : On-site (Kuala Lumpur)

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : RM10, RM12,000.00 per month
