Job Description

• Develop and maintain a client base in the food industry, including retailers, food manufacturers, and distributors
• Promote products using your food science expertise, aligning with clients' needs
• Conduct market research on industry trends and customer preferences
• Generate new business leads and nurture existing client relationships
• Collaborate with marketing and product development to ensure product-market fit
• Provide technical guidance on product specifications and food safety standards
• Deliver impactful presentations and negotiate deals to meet sales targets
• Track and report sales performance and market feedback
• Take on additional assignments as directed by management

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Executive should :

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
• Have proven sales experience within the food industry
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of food ingredients, safety standards, and quality assurance
• Possesse excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Be self-driven, target-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and open to travel for client meetings and industry events
