Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Executive - Pastry / Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in crafting high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism. This role offers opportunities to develop and grow your baking skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pastry & Baking Production

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, desserts, and other baked goods according to recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all products.

Creativity & Innovation

  • Assist in creating new recipes and experimenting with flavors and designs.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in the pastry and baking industry.

    • Quality Control

  • Monitor and ensure all baked goods meet the company's quality standards.
  • Manage portion control and minimize waste.

    • Hygiene & Safety

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and baking tools.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines (e.g., HACCP standards).

    • Inventory & Supplies Management

  • Assist in managing inventory, including the storage and rotation of ingredients.
  • Notify the manager about low stock levels and help with ordering supplies.

    • Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Provide support to other kitchen staff as needed.

    • Requirements

    Education & Experience

  • Diploma or certification in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Culinary Arts.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a pastry or baking role (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply).

  • Strong understanding of baking techniques and equipment.
  • Creativity in presentation and flavor development.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
