Associate II - Accounting and Compliance
Role Description Role Proficiency : Perform accounting duties within a defined scope under moderate supervision; summarise data and make logical conclusions. Outcomes An individual contributor to a subsystem (Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Purchasing Payroll) working under supervision Implement various Finance initiatives and actions per given guidelines Implement and assure effective business controls through review analysis and verification Resolve and address queries on a day to day basis Responsible for one or more components of the large execution plan / project Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product pricing and availability Work with internal departments to meet Internal needs Perform clerical accounting duties within a defined scope under moderate supervision (e.g. invoice fees purchase order numbers) Adhere to the Billing Process with regards to timelines and activities needed for each sales order Broad understanding of market dynamics trade business issues and technical issues Measures Of Outcomes Accuracy and correctness Meeting timelines for completion of projects / plans Multi-tasking ability based on efficiency in the given assignment TAT and quality of Query handling Outputs Expected Business Insights : Work under supervision in areas like Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Purchasing Payroll Maintain effective relationship with customers and ensure fulfilment of requirements Make a commitment to meet billing targets / metrics working independently to improve the current process Responsible for one or more components of the large execution plan / project and execute the same within timelines. Resolve / address queries on a day to day basis Work on identified issues in order to standardize and define solution Financial (Finance External Reporting & Tax Implement various Finance initiatives and actions per the given guidelines Implement established policies and procedures Acquire exhibit and enhance working knowledge of the business and functional aspects of the processes being implemented. Management Accounting Perform month-end closing procedures consisting of preparation of reports reconciliations accruals schedules balance confirmation etc.... Perform accounting transaction entries Regulation (Audit Ethics Governance Recognize and maintain confidential information Support other departments during events like recordkeeping processing payments and other general support Assist in the creation and design of automated reports requested by management Skill Examples Ability to quickly learn organization policies and processes Analytical frame of mind Orientation towards achievement of team and organizational goals Good Communication Skills Ability to meet deadlines Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment / time management skill Team-playing skills Problem solving skills Query handling Knowledge Examples Thorough knowledge of MS Office Solid understanding of accounting controls and principles Good in computation and business application skills Experience in Accounts Receivable Processes Systems perspective when implementing new programs and processes Conversant with the Financial system in use Additional Comments We are seeking a detail-oriented General Technician Support professional to assist with environmental compliance verification for electronic, mechanical, and chemical components. The role involves reviewing regulatory documentation, engaging with suppliers, and ensuring adherence to global environmental standards. This position is ideal for candidates with a technical background who are comfortable working with documentation and data but do not hold an engineering degree. Key Responsibilities : Ensure all selected components meet international environmental compliance regulations. Review and analyse supplier-provided documentation for accuracy and completeness. Utilize compliance tools and systems to track, verify, and maintain records. Collaborate with suppliers to obtain Certificates of Compliance (CofC), Material Declarations, Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and other required documentation. Verify compliance against regulatory standards such as : European Union : RoHS, REACH United States : California Proposition 65, TSCA, EPA PFAS restrictions Other regions : China RoHS, ODS, etc. Identify and escalate risks related to non-compliance. Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports and documentation for internal teams and external stakeholders. Support ongoing documentation updates and configuration control in line with quality and change management guidelines. Required Skills and Qualifications : Diploma, certificate, or technical qualification in a related field (science, technology, environment, or quality). Basic understanding of environmental regulations and component compliance is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and material declarations. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and document handling systems. Good communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
