Roles & Responsibilities :
- Support forwarding teams in execution of day-to-day duties
- Ensure effective communication process are established and maintained between supplier, internal and external customers
- Troubleshoot operational related disputes and attend to all stakeholder’s inquires timely
- Work closely with other support functions and all product heads to deliver a leading class service in profitable manner
- Advancing sales growth within existing revenue streams, and acquiring new business to increase revenue of customs brokerage
- Support sales development efforts of other branches and agents by creating and preparing customs brokerage presentations / blueprint
- Attending to Customs Brokerage related RFQ / Quotation
- Control overheads to maximize operating profit, meet budgeted P&L targets whilst maximizing financial results
- Formulate yearly budgets
- Provides expert leadership and setting both the short- and long-term directions for the customs brokerage team.
- Motivating, developing & provide succession planning to staff to ensure organizational continuity.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with statutory obligations and company policies & procedures in respect of (but not limit to) customs legislation, health and safety, environment and labour regulations.
- Engaging relevant government agencies in pursuing customs deregulation and process simplification.
- Working closely with regional and global teams in designing and implementing customs brokerage solutions and IT enabled systems.
