As a Sports Advisor (Sales), or Sports Advisor as we call it, your role is to ensure all customers leave our stores satisfied. From a friendly welcome to a quick and easy payment process, you will deliver a 5-star shopping experience. Decathlon invests heavily in teammate development to help those who want to build a career within the business flourish.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers professionally and ensure their satisfaction by providing appropriate solutions for returns, complaints, and checkout.
• Know the technical features and user benefits of Decathlon products to recommend suitable products, regardless of range.
• Develop customer relationships both in-store and online to better understand their needs.
• Pass on sports passion and help customers discover new sports.
• Encourage subscription / registration for loyalty programs to enhance customer information.
• Align with Decathlon Malaysia's goals and work with the team to achieve them.
• Promote innovation and enhance the sports experience in-store.
• Use resources and commercial tools to boost Decathlon Malaysia’s sales.
• Arrange the store layout according to implantation principles and guidelines, ensuring high-quality presentation and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain stock accuracy and availability using the automatic replenishment system.
• Enforce safety and security standards, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
• Participate in training and develop skills to become a trainer if desired.
