Job scope of Vessel Supervisor

Operational Oversight :

Monitoring the vessel's operations, including navigation, maintenance, and cargo handling, to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Safety and Compliance :

Ensuring the vessel complies with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Maintenance and Repairs :

Overseeing the maintenance and repair of the vessel's equipment and systems, coordinating with technical staff and ensuring timely completion of necessary work.

Cargo Operations :

Supervising the loading, unloading, and securing of cargo, ensuring proper procedures are followed and damage is minimized.

Communication and Reporting :

Maintaining clear and effective communication with relevant parties, including the vessel's crew, shore-based personnel, and charterers, and providing regular reports on vessel operations.
