We’re looking for a Developer who doesn’t just code, but thrives in the adrenaline-fueled world of live news. At FMT, our tech team powers a newsroom that never sleeps, delivering stories to millions of readers in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Frontend : Next.js (Pages Router) with (ISR), React, TypeScript, React Native
  • Backend & CMS : WordPress preferred, but experience with any CMS is valued
  • CDN & Performance : Cloudflare for caching, security, and traffic optimisation
  • Ops & Real-World Challenges : Late-night deployments after editorial deadlines, rapid troubleshooting during breaking news, and fine-tuning performance under massive traffic spikes

Requirements

  • 3–4 years working experience preferred, but fresh grads with serious skills are welcomed to apply
  • Practical Knowledge : Familiar with Google Cloud services, especially Cloud Run and GKE; understanding of CDN mechanics (preferably Cloudflare)
  • Problem-Solving Mindset : You think in solutions, not excuses
  • Adaptability : You can switch from building a feature in Next.js to debugging an urgent production issue in minutes

  • Experience building tools for content-heavy platforms
  • Deployments or projects that handled high traffic under real-world conditions
  • Cloud-native CI / CD experience
  • Past work in media, publishing, or real-time systems
