JOB PURPOSE

• Consolidation of the finance and accounting functions for Malaysia’s Assembly & Strategic Businesses – financial and operational reporting, budgeting, forecasting and operational matters.
• Risk Management – coordinate and facilitate

JOB CONTENT

1. Country – Malaysia Assembly & Strategic Businesses (ASB)

Prepared the monthly report for Malaysia ASB.

Prepared the consolidation for quarterly cash flow.

Prepared the consolidation for yearly budget.

Assist in ad hoc matters related to Malaysia ASB.

Assist the FC in reviewing the TB for Malaysia ASB entities.

Assist the Malaysia ASB entities to address any issues highlighted by Division, where necessary. Assist in the communication between the Division and entities.

2. Division - Risk Management Sime Darby Motors (SDM) :

Work with Risk Champions to coordinate and facilitate the completion and

submission of Divisional risk registers and other risk documentation.

Assist the Risk Lead in reviewing the risk register submitted by Risk Champions on quarterly basis.

Assist the Risk Champions in timely completion and submission of the risk registers.

3. Risk Champion for Malaysia, Assembly & Strategic Businesses :

Ensure that the risk register for Malaysia ASB is updated on timely basis.

Ensure that the risk register for Malaysia ASB covers the major risks in all its entities.

Keep up to date with possible or arising risk in Malaysia ASB entities.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL

Education / Professional Qualification :

Degree in Accounting / Finance or in related field.

Member of MIA or any Accounting Professional body.

Professional Experience :

Experience in a computerized accounting environment.

Experience in BPC system is preferred.

Experience in automotive industry is preferred.

Working knowledge in the following areas :

Strong knowledge of accounting principles & Standards and its

applications.

IT software skills – familiar with Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint.

IT application systems – familiar with SAP and BPC.
