Finance and Cost Controller

The Finance & Cost Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing expense limits across all business divisions, ensuring financial discipline and strategic alignment. This role also leads the design, implementation, and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency and support data‑driven decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

Expense Oversight & Budget Control

Establish, monitor, and enforce expense limits for each division in alignment with corporate financial goals.

Review monthly financial reports and variance analyses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Collaborate with divisional heads to forecast expenditures and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

KPI Development & Performance Monitoring

Design and implement relevant KPIs for each division, tailored to operational goals and financial targets.

Track and report on KPI performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.

Facilitate regular performance reviews and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Strategic Financial Planning

Support long‑term financial planning and scenario modelling across divisions.

Provide financial into strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and resource allocation.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure financial practices comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Lead internal audits and support external audit processes related to divisional spending.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a financial advisor to divisional leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.

Present financial findings and KPI trends to executive leadership and board members.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Professional certification preferred (e.g., CPA, ACCA, MBA).

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial management.

At least 3 years in a senior finance or controller role.

Strong proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.

Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.

Excellent understanding of divisional cost control and performance metrics.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strategic mindset with attention to operational detail.

High integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.

Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.

Adaptability in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
