Overview

The Finance Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the finance department by performing a variety of administrative and financial tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, assisting with the preparation of financial reports, and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and processed.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the timecost / timesheet system and managing client / SBU invoicing
  • Input and distribute daily billing and collections reports, ensuring accurate updates
  • Process and track staff claims and vendor / supplier invoices
  • Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and assist with trade receivables, payables, and payments
  • Maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and other documentation as required
  • Support management with ad-hoc financial tasks, projects, and reporting as needed

Education and professional skills / knowledge

Experience & Education :

  • Preferably candidates with at least LCCI Certificate / Diploma or equivalent
  • Other skills

  • Meticulous with a sense of urgency and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude
  • Good command of written and oral English
  • Proficient in MS Office application
