Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations).
  • Prepare monthly management reports, schedules and assist in budgeting.
  • Monitor cash flow, petty cash and daily sales collection from outlets.
  • Ensure timely submission of SST and other statutory reports.
  • Review supplier invoices, reconcile statements and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Assist Finance Manager in audit schedules, cost analysis and ad-hoc projects.
  • Supervise junior accounts staff and ensure proper filing and documentation.
  • Other ad-hoc projects, duties and responsibilities as required by management.
  • Prepare and manage HR-related tasks such as employee record management and payroll processing.

Qualifications

  • Solid working knowledge of accounting systems and software applications (e.g. SQL and Microsoft Office applications).
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills as well as attention to detail.
