Core Duties
Talent Acquisition (Primary)
Lead full-cycle hiring : role briefing, JD writing, sourcing (JobStreet / LinkedIn / referrals), screening, interviews, reference checks, offers, onboarding. Build pipelines for engineers, PMs, QSs, site roles & HQ functions. Track KPIs (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, probation pass rate).
Culture, Engagement & Growth
Plan and run engagement activities, recognition programs, and internal communications that strengthen collaboration and performance. Coordinate training needs analysis, CPD calendars, and learning vendors.
Onboarding & Employer Branding
Standardise pre-boarding, Day-1 orientation, buddy programs. Produce simple branding assets (job posts, profiles) and manage careers page / socials content.
HR Operations
Administer leave, claims, attendance; maintain HRIS / records. Prepare payroll inputs; manage EPF / SOCSO / EIS / HRD submissions with Finance. Support performance review cycles.
Compliance & Records
Keep policies aligned with the Malaysian Employment Act and company SOPs. Maintain neat digital filing (contracts, LOAs, personal files).
Admin & Office Management
Office supplies, vendors, travel / booking support, insurance renewals, licenses; assist directors with meeting logistics and simple reports.
Reporting
Provide monthly HR dashboards covering hiring pipeline, attrition / probation, leave / OT summaries, and training status.
Requirements
Essential
Diploma / Degree in HR / Business / Admin (or equivalent experience)
3+ years HR experience with strong recruitment focus
Solid knowledge of Malaysian labour law & statutory filings (EPF / SOCSO / EIS / HRD)
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; comfortable with ATS / HRIS
Strong interviewing, stakeholder management & written / verbal English & BM
Organized, discreet with data, able to multitask in fast timelines
Advantageous
Experience hiring in construction / engineering industry

Basic payroll exposure and HR cost tracking
Employer branding / content writing; simple design tools (Canva)
Conversational Mandarin / other languages
