Account Executive
- Daily Transaction Management : Record, post, and process daily financial transactions, including accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
- Bank and Account Reconciliation : Perform daily bank balance monitoring and prepare monthly bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
- Month-End Closing : Close accounts on a monthly basis and ensure all financial activities are recorded accurately and on time.
- Financial Statement Preparation : Prepare and compile the full set of financial statements, including the Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet, for reporting and audit purposes.
- Management Reporting : Generate monthly management reports and other financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Audit and Tax Support : Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation for external audits and contribute to tax preparation and timely tax payments.
- Documentation : Maintain and organize proper accounting documentation and filing systems to ensure compliance and support all accounting entries.
- Debt Collection : Contact debtors via phone, email, or written correspondence to discuss payment status and negotiate repayment plans or settlements.
- Ad-hoc Tasks : Handle other assigned duties, such as managing petty cash, processing staff claims, and liaising with external parties like bankers and auditors.
