Purpose Statement

The Sr. Planner / Buyer, Supply Chain is responsible for material planning, acquiring and production scheduling to meet GSC demand, customer needs, marketing requirements and service level objectives. It also involves developing and executing optimal direct and SAP material procurement strategies through supplier relationship management, supporting inventory and finished goods levels, and providing cross‑functional supply chain support.

Job Responsibilities

• Demand & Supply Planning / Scheduling : Review statistically generated forecasts, replenishment targets, and SI&OP with committed build plans.
• New Product Launch / Transfer Management : Assist PDP core team to provide required material timely.
• Inventory Management : Develop inventory plans, set targets, monitor performance and manage obsolescence.
• Supply Chain Execution : Support MRP and production planning, maintain build plans, manage net requirements, monitor manufacturing execution, provide inventory analysis, and manage backorders.
• Support SOP Process and achieve core performance metrics (service level, line fill, inventory, schedule adherence).
• Ensure EHS, Quality and policy compliance and promote a quality work environment.
• Develop procurement strategies, annual business plans, and cost reduction opportunities, building value‑adding supplier relationships.
• Conduct strategic business reviews with key suppliers and optimize supplier base.
