Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Corporate Finance will be responsible for leading corporate finance initiatives including investments, acquisitions, fund‑raising, and financial evaluations of new business ventures across the region. The role will involve close collaboration with senior management and business leaders to support strategic decision‑making and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate & Strategic Transactions
Lead the execution of M&A, joint ventures, disposals, and other corporate exercises across Southeast Asia.Develop robust financial models and valuations to support investment decisions and business cases.Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with external advisors such as investment banks, legal, tax, and accounting firms.Prepare proposals, board papers, and management presentations for strategic projects.2. Fundraising & Capital Management
Support debt and equity fund‑raising activities to finance regional expansion and new projects.Evaluate funding structures and optimize capital allocation across business units.Maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.3. Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning
Conduct detailed financial and scenario analyses for potential investments and regional market entry strategies.Benchmark performance and provide recommendations on market positioning, capital structure, and growth opportunities.Support strategic planning and long‑term value creation initiatives at group level.4. Reporting & Investor Relations Support
Prepare and coordinate the compilation of the Group’s Annual Report in compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.Collaborate with the Group Sustainability team on the preparation of the Sustainability Report, ensuring consistency and alignment with overall corporate disclosures.Liaise with Business Units to gather updates on business performance and key operational highlights.Prepare business review materials for quarterly announcements and update Investor Relations and Corporate Presentation decks to reflect the latest developments.Provide support to Group Investor Relations and Group Treasury in responding to queries from analysts, investors, and credit rating agencies.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.Professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, or ICAEW preferred.8–12 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or transaction advisory.Strong track record in financial modelling, valuation, and M&A execution.Exposure to regional markets and cross‑border transactions will be an advantage.Proactive, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
