Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to; accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and taxes
- Ensure proper maintenance of financial and management accounting records.
- Monitoring the reporting of revenue; coordinating the collection and evaluation of financial data.
- Maintains accounting controls by defining accounting policies and procedures.
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Assist in banking matters
- Assist in preparing the annual budget and expenditures.
- Coordinating on the financial year end audit to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as and when required.
