Auto Lathe Machinist

Responsibilities

• To fabricate the highest quality of the product in accordance with customer specification and company standard.
• To acquire higher level of manufacturing skills and coordinate manufacturing activities between machinist, supervisor and management.
• To compile manufacturing data timely to ensure good analysis is carried out and effective actions are taken to always ensure efficient manufacturing activities.
• To co-ordinate and slove any technical problem within your knowledge in order to get the job done on time.
• To analyse and work independently on techinical drawing, calculation, set-up, process, method, machine operations, tools and equipment.
• To preprare daily, weekly, monthly manufacturing activities progress report on timely manner for superior / management.
• To update information in GSS, such as line balancing, 29 loses, RMA, W / O closing and etc
• To propose technical improvement on fabrication process, method and speed to meet company requirement.
• To have commitment to ensure estimate hours and lead time of manufaturing activities are kept within the requirement.
• Responsible for arranging and completing all assigned job on timely manner.
• To analyse and investigate root cause and initiate corrective action for products that are rejected. Information pertaining to rejection need to be updated into GSS.
• To control and ensure the highest quality of products are produced during during manufacturing process.
• To ensure the working surrounding of machines and overall production floor are kept safe and clean at all times.
• To ensure Work Instructions are strictly followed at all times.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by Superior from time to time.
