The Oracle Finance Business Analyst position combines business knowledge and an understanding of the inner-workings and configuration options of Oracle Finance modules. Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. This role will facilitate and improve communication between business and technical resources.
Process Improvement Responsibilities
Provide process recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
Recommend business process improvements, design processes, provide solutions using Oracle ERP.
Research tools to identify those that can best help serve the needs of clients.
Operations Support
Under the direction of the Director – Global Business Systems, perform the following responsibilities on‑going for production support in specific geographic areas of Knowles :
Provide production Support and Administer Oracle ERP modules Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Costing.
Provide Customer Master, Pricing Support for Finance, Sales & Marketing team.
Gather new process changes, reporting requirements, perform feasibility analysis and provide recommendations.
Work on prioritized requests, develop functional design documents, create test plans, work with development team in developing, perform regression testing, conduct user acceptance testing and training.
Oracle configuration and setup for modules Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Costing.
Elevate issues and concerns to the USA based Director – Global Business Systems.
Validate Oracle responsibility access as per SOX compliance rules and approve.
Participate in developing and executing Oracle training programs to increase the Oracle awareness in the regions.
Participate in implementation, testing and training of Oracle software upgrades.
Skills
5+ years Oracle application experience with the following Oracle Finance modules :
Knowledge and familiarity in underlying Oracle ERP applications database architecture.
Expertise with configuration and setups for Oracle Finance modules.
Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
Proficient in running SQL scripts for data analysis and validation.
