Recruitment Consultant l @Manpower Group Malaysia l Local Language Team

Key Responsibilities :

  • Front-End Development (Building Production-Ready Code) Transform design concepts and requirements into clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Work with our existing PHP applications and enhance them with modern front-end techniques
  • Collaborate with Web & Mobile Engineering teams to implement new features and improvements
  • Optimise applications for performance, accessibility, and search engine optimisation Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards
  • Integrate with APIs and work closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless functionality
  • UI / UX Design (Crafting Beautiful User Experiences) Contribute to interface design decisions and help improve the visual appeal of our platforms
  • Work with the Product Owner to understand user requirements and translate them into better user experiences
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and platform improvements
  • Analyse existing platforms to identify usability issues and propose design solutions Collaborate with RPA and AI teams to design user-friendly interfaces for their client-facing services
  • Help maintain consistency across platforms and contribute to our evolving design system
  • Participate in design discussions and provide a developer perspective on feasibility and implementation
  • Cross-Team Collaboration (Throughout both areas) Bridge the gap between engineering teams and user experience considerations
  • Present technical solutions and design recommendations to stakeholders
  • Document both code implementations and design decisions for team reference
  • Stay current with front-end technologies and UI / UX trends to bring fresh ideas to the team Support platform improvement initiatives from both a technical and user experience perspective

Job requirements

  • Your Development Foundation (Your Strong Suit) Experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) and comfortable building responsive applications
  • Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative development practices
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors, build tools, or modern development workflows
  • You enjoy problem-solving and writing clean, maintainable code
  • Your Design Interest (Your Growth Area) Good eye for visual design and genuine interest in user experience
  • Basic understanding of design principles (even if self-taught!)
  • Some exposure to design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar (beginner level is fine) You notice when interfaces work well and when they don't
  • Curious about learning UI / UX methodologies and design thinking
  • Interest in understanding user behavior and creating intuitive experiences
  • Your Hybrid Skill Mindset (What makes this role perfect for you) You understand both the technical constraints and possibilities of web development
  • Able to think about design from an implementation perspective
  • Comfortable communicating with both technical teams and product stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented but can also see the bigger user experience picture
  • Ready to wear both "developer" and "designer" hats, depending on project needs
  • Excited about being the person who bridges code and design
