Inventory Planning Specialist

Penerangan pekerjaanWork closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to align inventory levels with operational needs. Participate in new product launch planning and inventory setup. Communicate inventory status and potential issues to relevant stakeholders. Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Sciences or related field. Fresh graduates are welcome or with work experience 1‑2 years. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel). Highly interested in numerical analysis and forecasting. Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Responsibilities
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast future demand.
- Collaborate with sales and purchasing team to gather input for demand planning.
- Adjust forecasts based on market conditions and promotional activities.
- Determine optimal order quantities and reorder points.
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues affecting inventory availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock analysis.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and recommend actions.
- Analyze and report on inventory performance metrics such as turnover rates, fill rates, and stock accuracy.
- Identify and implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
