Assistant Manager, Purchasing

Responsibilities

• To obtain quotation for all the department.
• To carry-out negotiation for cost reduction from supplier and sub-contractor.
• To carry-out tendering process and tender negotiation meeting with sub-contractor.
• To prepare / update price book and notify the respective departments (Sales, Admin and Branches) of new material price.
• To arrange sub-contractor to repair breakdown machinery / equipment or collect component for fabrication.
• To monitor office rental agreement (Head office and branches).
• To prepare yearly major vendors evaluation form and VPE form for OVR.
• To source for new product & new sub-contractor for better price with same quality of product / service provided.
• To involve in logistic matters for both local transportation and oversea imported goods including checking K1 form, provide necessary documents for KASTAM clearances.
• To arrange new products presentation to sales / technical teams.
