Responsibilities
To manage MW Continuing Airworthiness Management aircraft maintenance programme, reliability and engineering activities.
To ensure that the company's aircraft, engine, component and associated equipment perform to specification as required by company and Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM).
To ensure the availability of sub-contractor technical specialists to support maintenance.
To liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and other operationally relevant parties.
To develop and control a maintenance programme for the aircraft managed including any applicable reliability programme as required by CAAM. Present the aircraft maintenance programme and its amendments to the CAAM for approval.
To analyze the effectiveness of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme as required by CAAM; implement and maintain an efficient reliability program and initiate studies to investigate technical improvements.
To manage the approval of modification, repairs and embodiment, and Non-mandatory modification embodiment policy.
To manage Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other airworthiness data affecting MW fleet to ensure continuing airworthiness impact on the approved documentation is reviewed and applied accordingly.
To initiate, evaluate, select and, upon careful technical and regulatory considerations, accept approved modifications / alterations for incorporation on MW aircraft, engines, components and associated equipment.
To ensure maintenance is conducted by appropriately approved organisations and released in accordance with regulations.
To coordinate scheduled maintenance, application of airworthiness directives, replacement of service life limited parts, and component inspections to ensure proper compliance.
To rectify defects discovered during scheduled maintenance or reported defects and ensure correction by an approved maintenance organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline required with 3 years’ experience in Engineering & Maintenance or Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with 4 years in Engineering & Maintenance.
Skills & Knowledge
High knowledge in Engineering & Maintenance Planning Documents, systems and processes, particularly Technical Records.
Relevant knowledge and experience in Project / Programme management.
Knowledge of the airlines industry.
Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages are an added advantage.
Key Challenges

Must have a pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
