• Need a senior professional who can not only manage logistics execution but also drive strategic improvements such as cost optimization, risk mitigation and sustainability initiatives.
• The role will improve coordination across departments, streamline communication with external pertners and enable data-driven decision making.
• Responsible for mentoring and developing the logistics team. With a growing workforce, we need experienced leadership to ensure operational consistency, succession planning, and continuous improvement within the team.Job Requirements
• Coordinate and manage the shipping process for the company's imports and exports, ensuring timely and compliant logistics
• Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless import / export activities
• LMW license requirements and compliances - LMW license renewal, application of additional item to LMW material list, customer & sub-contractors, GPB application & renewal, etc.
• Prepare all shipping reports including customs monthly or yearly reports such as finished goods, raw material, sub-contractors, machines, schedule waste and scrap disposal, etc (Eg. M1, M2, A1, A2, A3).
• Handle other exemption applications and the government agencies' approval, such as MITI, MIDA, etc (Eg. ATIGA, AFTA, etc)
• Continuously monitor changes in regulations and policies to ensure the company remains compliant
• Actively participate in issues pertaining to ad-hoc logistic issues and drive for solutions and improvement
• Provide administrative support and contribute to the overall efficiency of the shipping and logistics operations
• Undertake other role & responsibilities that are assigned by immediate superior from time to time until full closure
