Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads on detailed software design based on feature requirements.
  • Write reusable, testable, efficient, and scalable code in Python.
  • Develop low-latency, well-structured, and high-performance backend logic.
  • Integrate user-facing elements created by frontend developers with backend logic.
  • Test, debug, and optimize software performance.
  • Implement and manage data storage solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a focus on Python.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong expertise in Python and at least one Python web framework (e.g., Flask).
  • Solid understanding of design principles behind scalable applications.
  • Strong OOP (object-oriented programming) skills with clean, organized coding practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., Amazon DynamoDB).
  • Understanding of Python's threading limitations and multi-process architecture.
  • Knowledge of user authentication and authorization across multiple systems.
  • Awareness of accessibility and security compliance requirements.
  • Ability to design and implement database schemas supporting business processes.
  • Strong skills in unit testing and debugging.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Passionate, resourceful, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a highly dynamic hybrid environment.
