We are looking for a Production Manager (Mine & Plant) to lead and oversee mining, beneficiation, and processing operations at our sites. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards. The Production Manager will manage end-to-end operations, optimize processes, and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver on business and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Processing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 8–10 years of relevant industry experience, with 3+ years in a managerial / supervisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mining, beneficiation processes, and plant operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

You shall be reporting to the General Manager.

Operation Managements

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations in both mining, beneficiation and processing plants.
  • Ensure mining schedule, plant throughput, and quality parameters meet business and customer requirements.
  • Develop, implement and monitor mining and production plans to achieve targeted tonnage, grade and recovery.
  • Coordinate raw material extraction, mining and processing requirements.

    • Production and Process Optimization

  • Ensure downtime is minimized and equipment availability is maximized.
  • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies by coordinating with the Maintenance Planning Team.
  • Oversee material flow, including receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch, ensuring accurate stock control and timely replenishment.
  • Plan and monitor production schedules, processing operations, and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize output.
  • Maintain product quality standards across all product lines : High Purity Silica Sand, Ultra Purity Silica Sand, Silica Flour, and Cristobalite.
  • Work with engineers to optimize mine planning, drilling, haulage and plant beneficiation and processing.

    • Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, supervisors, and operators
  • Conduct team meetings and briefings to communicate goals, review performance, and address issues.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and skills development for staff to build a capable and engaged workforce.
  • Foster a safety-first and performance-driven culture.
  • Ensure clear communication between the mining and processing team.
  • Partner with HR on performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee relations.

    • Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain strict product quality standards to meet customer specifications.
  • Work closely with quality control teams to address deviations.
  • Address production or technical issues promptly to maintain reliability and integrity of output.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance product consistency, reduce contamination, and improve beneficiation recovery.
  • Liaise with customers on technical issues, product specifications, and order fulfillment

    • Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare and present regular reports on production, performance, and operational issues to the General Manager / GCEO.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to align operational plans with customer and business needs.
  • Contribute to long-term mine planning and beneficiation strategy.
  • Forecast manpower, equipment, and material needs.

    • Additional Duties

  • Support site-level execution of operational plans and improvement projects.
  • Ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and operational.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as directed by the General Manager or Management.
  • Represent the plant in audits, inspections, and stakeholder meetings.
