Senior Sales Enablement Specialist - Japanese Speaking

This position will be responsible for delivering coaching and training for specialized markets throughout APJ. Supporting Veeam’s growth into new markets, the role spans multiple areas such as the customized deal review process, AI strategy integration, and leading sales training. With an APJ focus, key responsibilities include supporting and growing the Japanese SDR and Enterprise sales teams. The candidate must be fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and English, acting as a conduit for content delivery, localization, and creation.

Responsibilities

  • Localize training and adoption of existing training.
  • Deliver, coordinate, and support excellence in training and performance.
  • Act as a conduit between Revenue Acceleration and functions such as Marketing and Sales Engineering.
  • Deliver face‑to‑face and online coaching in 1 : 1 and group sessions following call shadowing, performance results, and monitoring, focusing on Sales Development Roles.
  • Provide coaching to managers to support call shadowing, email assessment, and coaching conversations for Sales Development Roles.
  • Evaluate performance based on pre‑defined checkpoints and provide feedback to team leaders.
  • Evaluate existing training programs to ensure quality and effectiveness of professional development.
  • Communicate weekly with stakeholders from the enablement team and sales management.
  • Focus on onboarding all roles across the APJ region, including Japan and Korea.
  • Provide 1 : 1 skill development to new hires struggling with complex topics and provide resulting feedback to the Sales Acceleration team or sales team leaders.

Qualifications

  • JLPT Level N2 and above is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and their adaptation into a sales environment.
  • Awareness of or experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
  • Awareness of or experience with collaboration tools like MS Teams, WebEx, etc.
  • Facilitation and coaching experience.
  • Veeam portfolio knowledge.
  • Strong sales experience in commercial sales roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven record of driving programs and projects independently with success.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced work environment; must be a high‑energy, motivated self‑starter.
  • Strong technical proficiency and the ability to learn complex systems quickly.
  • Able to travel as needed (up to 30%) international travel.
