What you will be doing We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Android Developer to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of our digital healthcare solutions. As an Android Developer, you will design, develop and optimize WhiteCoat’s mobile applications to enhance user experience in teleconsultation and health service delivery. Key Responsibilities : Develop and maintain Android applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and responsiveness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Work closely with UX / UI teams to implement smooth, user-friendly interfaces Integrate RESTful APIs and manage data from backend services Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards Monitor app performance and resolve bugs / issues promptly Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience in Android development (Java / Kotlin) Proficiency in Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Google Play ecosystem Strong understanding of mobile UI / UX principles Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries (Retrofit, Dagger, etc.) Familiarity with Agile methodologies Essential Skills and Experience : Knowledge of healthcare applications or experience in telehealth platforms Exposure to mobile analytics and performance monitoring tools Problem-solving skills with an attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
