Our client is a Malaysian company specializing in comprehensive solar photovoltaic (PV) services, including consultancy, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems. Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar PV market in Northern Peninsular Malaysia (Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak). Study and analyze potential clients’ needs to prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients. Negotiate proposals / contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders and industry partners. Collaborate with the engineering team to gather necessary site information for initial engineering preparation to facilitate sales activities. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution from proposal / contract signing to system commissioning. Stay up to date with relevant authority policies, application flows, industry standards, regulations, best practices to provide best advice to clients. Stay up to date on industry trends, market developments and competitor activities. Provide regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and customer feedback. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing plans. Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Engineering or a related field. Experience working in the solar PV industry with basic knowledge of solar PV system and authorities’ policies is an advantage. Experience working in sales position with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Possess own car.
