Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our growing engineering team, with a focus on designing, building, and operating scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure in the cloud. This role demands deep hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, and infrastructure automation, with a strong understanding of cloud-native patterns and DevOps best practices. You'll play a critical role in shaping our platform capabilities, enabling development teams to deliver software efficiently while maintaining operational excellence and compliance

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) across multiple environments.
  • Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Helm).
  • Implement infrastructure as code and automation practices to improve deployment speed, stability, and repeatability.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Drive observability strategy including logging, metrics, tracing (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
  • Collaborate with development, security, and compliance teams to support secure application delivery.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help set standards around cloud infrastructure and SRE practices.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills :

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, with deep AWS expertise.
  • 3+ years managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters (preferably EKS).
  • Strong skills in Terraform, Helm, Atlantis and cloud-native tooling.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and Linux system administration.
  • Solid understanding of networking, IAM, VPC, and AWS security best practices.
  • Experience with GitOps workflows and modern CI / CD systems.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across cloud and container ecosystems.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
  • Knowledge of cost optimization techniques and cloud cost visibility tools.
  • Familiarity with serverless (e.g., Lambda) and event-driven architectures.
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO
  • Exposure to AWS Control Tower as well as Multi Account / Multi Tenant Architecture
