Equipment Staff Engineer (Casting)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, perform troubleshooting, and resolve any casting machine-related issues to meet KPIs such as UD / SD / MTBF / MTBA.
• Optimize casting parameters to improve cycle time, reduce scrap, and ensure consistent product quality.
• Participate in equipment selection or design of new casting machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Support audits and maintain timely documentation updates.
• Lead and train technicians on equipment-related topics.
• Sustain machine performance in terms of safety, downtime, MTBA, MTBF, and quality throughput.
• Lead continuous improvement projects related to machine performance or cost savings, support new machine selection, buy-off, and ramp-up.
