Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Executive to manage the full spectrum of HR functions in our construction company. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, training & development, compliance with statutory requirements and supporting management in HR strategies. Candidates with experience in industry-specific programs and licensing will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, performance appraisal and employee engagement.
- Handle statutory compliance matters including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and LHDN submissions.
- Prepare and maintain HR-related reports, records, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Administer training and development programs, including applications and claims under HRDC (Human Resource Development Corporation).
- Coordinate and manage industrial relations matters, disciplinary actions and grievance handling in accordance with company policies and labour laws.
- Assist in managing work permit applications, renewals and related documentation for foreign workers.
- Ensure compliance with CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) requirements and manage licensing applications / renewals.
- Coordinate and administer the PROTÉGÉ Program (Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs), including trainee recruitment, monitoring, and reporting.
- Support management in implementing HR policies, procedures and strategies to enhance organizational growth and productivity.
- Undertake any ad-hoc HR-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 2–3 years of HR working experience, preferably in the construction industry.Good knowledge of Sabah Labour Ordinance, Employment Act, and HR best practices.Familiarity or experience in handling :
