Project Manager

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Overview

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of a project from initiation to completion, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and according to specified quality standards. The Project Manager is the central point of contact for stakeholders and is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing resources effectively to achieve project objectives.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Professional qualification in project management required (e.g. PMP, Prince2) and Agile (e.g. Agile SAFe, Scrum Master or Kanban)
  • At least eight years of hands‑on project management experience
  • At least three years of Agile experience
  • Experience working with regional and global teams
  • Extensive project management skills in planning, budgeting, tracking, status reporting, stakeholder management, etc.

Desired Skill-set

  • Sound experience in large‑scale office integration and relocation projects preferred
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proven record of managing troubled teams / projects and turning them into success
  • Strong leadership, communication and vendor management skills
  • Good supervisory skill, able to lead a project team composed of members from different departments

    • Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, respond to and manage project implementation in agile practice
  • Manage the project budget and cost according to internal business management rules
  • Monitor and control execution of projects through Plan, Build and Run processes
  • Perform project reporting (e.g. performance, status) and deliver project completion documentation
  • Conduct project evaluations and share results with Service Owners and Group Infra Lead
  • Liaise and communicate with global and regional stakeholders including Business, IT, Operations, etc.
  • Identify potential project risks and define mitigation strategy
  • Work with senior management on communication, project updates and escalation
